Introducing our group of players. Our programmes are generally based on either medieval or Renaissance (Tudor) themes, so the instruments in use may vary depending on period. We mostly sing and play tabor pipes too, so these aren't listed below!

Steffan was one of the original founders of the group, and organises all the music and programmes for our various events.
He plays a variety of instruments, including recorders, shawms, bladder pipe, cornett, slide trumpet, rebec, and the dreaded bombarde – very loud and very high!
Claire plays percussion, and takes care of our costumes and all manner of management tasks.

Susan plays shawms, recorders, and crumhorns.
Benomy is our sackbut specialist, with alto, tenor and bass instruments.
He also plays recorders under duress!

Rachel plays cornett, recorders, and crumhorn.
Rick plays a variety of wind instruments, including cornetts, recorders, shawms, crumhorns, and dulcians, in various shapes and sizes.

Heather has recently returned to the Bristol Waites after a few years away, and brings with her a wealth of experience and a range of instruments.
